Above is a picture of the new encaustic collages I have been making.

Encaustic medium (beeswax & damar resin mixture) encases a photograph and the surface is stamped with letters and stained with oil paint.

This allows me to make work that mixes images with prose I write, a direction I have been wanting/needing to pursue.
